#3 - Addison & Sheffield (1937)
Wrigley Field canvas print #3: A bird's eye view of 1937 Wrigley Field from the roof of what's now 3551 North Sheffield Avenue. The new centerfield scoreboard and bleachers were built that summer behind a temporary wall, with concrete and brick replacing wood. In an ever-evolving Wrigleyville, a 7-Eleven stands where the Standard Service station once stood. And, in 2013 at least, it's O'Malley's Liquor Kitchen in the space with this rooftop view, giving it a go after three uneventful years of Club 162, Benchwarmers, and Harry Caray's Tavern. Can anyone say, “Hi-Tops 2”? Please?
