#9 - Left field sucks (1937)

The left field view down Waveland Avenue from the Wrigley Field bleachers, under construction in 1937

Wrigley Field canvas print #9: The view west down Waveland Avenue from the Wrigley Field bleachers, as they were being built during the 1937 season. The bleachers and new scoreboard would officially open in September of that year, with the round clock to be added in 1941. God only knows when the war between left field and right field started, encapsulated by the "Left field sucks!" versus "Right field sucks!" bleacher rants that still permeate the outfield air today.
